Wingspan: 42 1/2" Inches Length: 30" Inches
Needed to Complete:
I started flying R/C gliders at 7 years old. This plane was influenced by several of my favorite glider models. It's a great slow flying glider that anyone can build and fly.
Most R/C pilot start out with a basic skills trainer, our Bird allows you to do just that. With the big dihedral wing and lack of ailerons this plane will help you keep out of trouble. We suggest that when setting up the receiver you plug in the rudder servo into the Aileron plug. This set up makes it easy to fly with one stick for throttle and the other for flying up down left and right.
The AvTim's Bird is super cute. I love to see the plane flying from below. I built the first one as a power glider, but this can be build as a glider and slope soared or put in a hook and use a high start.
Hang in there we need to finish a few other project and we will have this up.
